Job Description

The incumbent is responsible for managing and growing the banking business in the assigned region by coordinating with area managers.

The incumbent is also responsible to effectively implement strategy in respective regions or clusters with a focus on building a self-funded business through:

Quality loans portfolio, deposit growth, auxiliary or bundled products, mobile accounts and managing a high performing team in the branch network.

Responsibility:

1. Coordinate closely with stakeholders in the region like HRBPs, Admin, and Risk to ensure smooth delivery of Business As Usual (BAU) and strategy.

2. Coordinate closely with HRBPs to support recruitment and execution of induction programs, and training on Outreach & Ops and other programs, keep close sight on attrition rates to proactively advice on retention / hiring.

3. Ensure all job transfers, rotations and job elevations / change of responsibilities are done as per HR guidelines.

4. Responsible for branch level profitability, branch expansion plan and assessment of touch points and their feasibility in respective regions / clusters.

5. Arranging approvals of loans and increasing branch portfolio towards ENR Growth.

6. Organize the recovery and collection process to maintain the delinquencies and losses within the specified limits of the assigned goals.

7. Ensures a balance between the loans and deposits so as to achieve the self-funding status of the branches

8. Ensure the teams understand Ethics; Code of Conduct violations are highlighted and corrective actions are taken

9. Act as a coach and leader to the teams across the region / cluster; provide direction and ensure timely and correct communication so that teams understand the organization’s objectives

10. Develop a culture of knowledge sharing, learning, sharing ideas and feedback in an open and constructive way within the region to contribute to the development of a stronger and aligned customer centric organization.

11. Lead all change / strategic projects execution in respective regions / clusters.
