The Regional Head B2G role based in Islamabad is a senior leadership position responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships with government and public sector organizations. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering innovative digital transformation solutions that align with Jazz’s vision. The successful candidate will possess deep knowledge of the ServiceCo landscape, including GSM, Data, Fixed connectivity, M2M/IoT, and Quantica. Reporting directly to the Head of B2G, the Regional Head will lead a team of six members to achieve business objectives within the designated region.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to increase revenue through government partnerships. Identify and prioritize public sector opportunities such as tenders, projects, and strategic initiatives. Maintain a robust pipeline of B2G opportunities to ensure continuous business growth.
Project Planning and Execution: Identify government business prospects within the region and lead evaluation and participation efforts. Participate in pre-bid meetings to understand project requirements and gather critical inputs for proposal development. Oversee project execution according to defined milestones and quality standards, providing regular progress updates and resolving issues promptly.
Portfolio Management: Achieve portfolio goals by securing high-value contracts and exploring new revenue streams. Manage escalated client concerns through regular engagement and incorporate feedback to enhance service delivery. Monitor market trends and competitor activities, sharing insights with product and marketing teams to foster innovation. Lead team performance management to meet productivity targets and ensure effective client portfolio oversight. Prepare persuasive proposals, business cases, and presentations tailored to government stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Service Delivery, and CRA teams to align offerings with market demands. Ensure smooth execution of partnership agreements and deliverables. Provide senior management with regular updates on sales performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure all partnerships and contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and client interactions.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or ICT is required, with an MBA and ICT knowledge preferred. Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or partnership management, specifically within the public sector. A proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing high-value accounts is essential. Strong understanding of the public sector landscape in Pakistan, including government procurement processes and regulations, is necessary. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are required, along with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
