The Regional Manager FTTx Sales will be responsible for leading the sales strategy and operations for Fiber-to-the-X (FTTx) solutions within the Lahore or Islamabad region. This role is pivotal in expanding the customer base, driving revenue growth, and building strategic relationships with both existing and prospective clients. The manager will actively contribute as an individual performer while overseeing a team of FTTx sales professionals, ensuring alignment of sales activities with business goals to meet targets and guarantee successful delivery of FTTx products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Sales Strategy: Formulate and execute the regional sales strategy for FTTx solutions including FTTH, FTTB, and FTTC. Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and customer segments while maintaining and upselling to the existing client base. Collaborate closely with the Head of Department to ensure sales objectives align with overall company goals and market positioning.
Team Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team focused on FTTx offerings. Set clear sales targets, monitor team performance, and provide ongoing coaching and development. Cultivate a collaborative and results-oriented environment that emphasizes customer satisfaction and team success.
Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients and partners to ensure long-term retention. Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and customize solutions accordingly. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex or strategic customer issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential challenges within the FTTx sector. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve market positioning and sales strategies. Stay updated on technological advancements, industry developments, and regulatory changes.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, pipeline status, and market trends to the Head of Department. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting sales metrics and key performance indicators. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate planning, sales execution, and service delivery.
Sales Enablement & Process Improvement: Assist in the development of sales tools, training materials, and resources to empower the sales team. Partner with the Head of Department to assess and refine sales processes for enhanced efficiency. Work alongside marketing to design impactful campaigns and promotional initiatives.
Collaboration Across Teams: Coordinate closely with product, operations, and technical teams to fulfill customer requirements and exceed expectations. Provide feedback on product development based on customer insights and market demand. Collaborate with customer service and support teams to ensure a seamless post-sale experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing FTTx channels and partner accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Skilled in analyzing market trends and developing effective sales strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve customer inquiries, escalations, and service issues efficiently in a fast-paced telecom or ISP environment.
- Experience in telecom, IT, or enterprise solutions is highly preferred.
