The Regional Manager FTTx Sales will be responsible for leading the sales strategy, operations, and overall performance of Fiber-to-the-X (FTTx) solutions within the Lahore or Islamabad region. This role focuses on expanding the customer base, driving revenue growth, and building strategic relationships with both existing and potential clients. The individual will work independently and, where applicable, manage a team of FTTx sales professionals. By aligning sales efforts with business objectives, the Regional Manager ensures the successful delivery and implementation of FTTx products and services while consistently meeting assigned targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Sales Strategy: Design and execute the regional sales strategy for FTTx solutions including FTTH, FTTB, and FTTC to meet revenue objectives. Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and customer segments. Maintain and grow the existing customer portfolio through upselling. Work closely with the Head of Department to ensure alignment of sales goals with the company’s overall objectives and market positioning.
Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing regional sales team focused on FTTx products and services. Establish sales targets, monitor team performance, and provide ongoing coaching and professional development. Cultivate a motivated and collaborative environment that drives results and enhances customer satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to secure long-term retention. Engage with prospective customers to understand their requirements and tailor solutions accordingly. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex or strategic customer issues, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential challenges within the FTTx sector. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Head of Department to strengthen market positioning and refine sales tactics. Stay updated on technological advancements, industry developments, and regulatory changes relevant to FTTx.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, pipeline status, and market trends to the Head of Department. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics, KPIs, and progress toward revenue targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate planning, sales execution, and delivery processes effectively.
Sales Enablement & Process Improvement: Support the development of sales tools, training materials, and resources to empower the sales team. Partner with the Head of Department to evaluate and improve sales processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness. Work alongside marketing to design impactful campaigns and promotional materials that drive sales growth.
Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with product, operations, and technical teams to meet and exceed customer expectations. Provide feedback from customers and market insights to inform product development. Coordinate with customer service and support teams to ensure a seamless post-sale experience.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required. Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in enterprise sales, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. Proven success in meeting sales targets and managing FTTx channels and partner accounts is essential. Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills are necessary. The ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies is critical. Experience managing customer inquiries, escalations, and service issues in a fast-paced telecom or ISP environment is highly valued. Background in telecom, IT, or enterprise solutions is preferred.
