This role within the Daraz department is dedicated to developing and maintaining an efficient organizational structure that supports overall company effectiveness. The position centers on creating and managing a comprehensive Job Architecture, which includes frameworks for job grading, leveling, job families, job descriptions, and position benchmarking. The successful candidate will regularly conduct job evaluations and organizational audits, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency. The role also involves analyzing processes and workflows, driving strategic workforce planning alongside leadership, and leveraging data to inform decisions related to talent management, succession planning, and internal mobility. Collaboration with the data team is essential to monitor headcount trends and support organizational growth. Additionally, the role requires translating business priorities into actionable project plans, engaging with senior management and external experts, and keeping up-to-date with industry trends to ensure continuous alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain organizational structure blueprints to optimize company-wide efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design and manage a comprehensive Job Architecture framework, including job grading, leveling, job families, job descriptions, and position benchmarking.
- Conduct regular job evaluations and organizational structure audits, recommending improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Analyze processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, propose recommendations, and oversee the implementation of changes.
- Lead strategic workforce planning in partnership with leadership and business partners, focusing on critical talent management, succession planning, internal mobility, and skills matrices.
- Utilize both quantitative and qualitative data to analyze organizational structures and processes, continuously identifying actionable improvements.
- Collaborate with the data team to analyze headcount trends, maintain accurate workforce data, and provide insights to support future headcount planning and organizational growth.
- Translate high-level business priorities into clear, actionable project plans with defined scope, milestones, and success criteria.
- Work closely with senior management and external experts as needed to ensure alignment and effective execution.
- Monitor and integrate industry trends and best practices related to organizational design and employee engagement.
- Track, evaluate, and report on the success of programs and initiatives to ensure continuous alignment with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in organizational design, job architecture, or related fields.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams and engage with cross-cultural stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of industry best practices in job evaluations, with familiarity in methodologies such as Hay, Korn Ferry, or Mercer considered a strong advantage.
