Reporting To: Head of Sales

Direct Reportees: 8-12   This position is responsible for sales strategy and operations within the region. The prime objective of this position is Leading, motivating and developing a regional team to grow the potential business while simultaneously optimizing resources and budgets.

Contribution to the Group:    Sales is an integral part of organizations’ sustainability. This position leads business success with direct impact on bottom-line and financials. Principle Responsibilities These are the primary role accountabilities.

  • Marketing & Trade Programs Management
  • Accounts & Budget Management

The Essentials Experience:

  • 8-12 years
  • Relevant Business Knowledge
  • Proven track record of managing large teams and meeting challenging sales targets
  • Strong network of relationships

  Basic:

  • 16 years of education/Bachelors(Hons) Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or similar field

Preference:

  • Multilingual (English, Urdu and local languages)
  • MBA
  • Geographical Knowledge

About the Function:One of the largest departments, Sales is the team directly behind organizations’ growth and success. The team is spread across the nation with a vast network. Identifying new customers, managing current ones, and leveraging on relationships is key for success.The Sales team often collaborates with Marketing to oversee the brand integrity, visibility, and campaigns alignment. Sales also work closely with the Distribution and Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery of products. Full of energy and opportunity, this department is always on the move for bigger challenges.Role Challenges:Government policies and new regulations:

  • Taxes impacting product prices and margins
  • Anti-smoking regulations/campaigns
  • Dark marketing

External environment upsetting distribution channels:

  • Political/Economical conditions
  • Extreme Weather conditions

Demand-Supply Chain:

  • Late delivery or supply shortage
  • Supply chain mismanagement
