A Lahore based company is looking for a self-driven and motivated in-house senior accountant.

Idea candidate must have good knowledge of finance with a good grip of report writing and accounting data analysis. 

Exceptional communication skills are required for the post of senior accountant.

Responsibilities:

  • Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Use finance-based knowledge to provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports according to the company finances and accounts data. 
  • analyzing account information and keeping track of the company asset, liability, and capital account entries.
  • Documenting the financial transactions of the company by using the account information.
  • Summarizing the current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
  • Preparing accounts and tax returns
  • Monitoring spending and budgets
  • Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
  • Financial forecasting and risk analysis
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
  • Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
  • Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries
  • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
  • Create and update expense reports
  • Process reimbursement forms
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting CRM software (e.g. QuickBooks)
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases
  • Check spreadsheets for accuracy
  • Maintain digital and physical financial records
  • Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
  • Review and file payroll documents
  • Participate in quarterly and annual audits

Qualifications:

  • At minimum, an Associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping. Bachelor's degree preferred( B.com, ACCA,M.COM). An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted.
  • 5 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience
  • Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently on assigned duties
  • Demonstrates an ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
