Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication.
- Updating existing content to make it more useful for customers
- Manage daily responsibilities outlined by the Group Marketing Manager, Senior Content Writer
- Assist the Senior Content Writer in generating, editing new content daily
- Assisting the Email Marketing in developing content for marketing communications, through email and social channels
- Writing SEO optimized blogs
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- Proofreading and peer-reviewing work
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Identify needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelors (preferably Marketing, English, Journalism or related field)
Preferred Skills
- A passionate gamer, with a knack for researching, reviewing, and writing about gaming products
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Ability to meet deadlines
