Rexen Consultancy Pvt. Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stock Controller to oversee and maintain accurate stock records within the ERP system. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end stock control processes, ensuring data integrity, and coordinating closely with warehouses and internal teams to maintain efficient inventory management. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and handle multiple tasks related to stock operations with precision and accuracy.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, supply chain, or a related field and has at least 2 years of relevant experience in stock control and inventory management. The candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, and exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with various departments and prepare comprehensive stock reports for senior management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complete stock records using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Input stock purchase orders and accurately process new stock entries into the ERP system.
- Handle stock allocations, monitor stock movements, and perform regular reconciliations within the system to maintain up-to-date inventory levels.
- Coordinate effectively with warehouse personnel and internal departments to resolve stock discrepancies and operational issues related to inventory.
- Prepare, analyze, and submit detailed stock reports to the Commercial Director to support business decision-making.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all stock-related activities to ensure compliance and facilitate auditing processes.
- Monitor inventory levels to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and liaise with relevant teams to recommend appropriate actions.
- Implement and support stock control procedures to optimize inventory management and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Assist in training and guiding staff in stock control practices as needed, although the role does not involve direct team management.
- Continuously review and improve stock control processes to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
