- Identifying, fixing mostly Hardware issues i.e. thus hardware troubleshooting skills are mandatory. Capable of evaluation, installation, up gradation, replacement or maintenance of Hardware (servers, printers, communication devices, computer work stations etc.) Fixing network faults. Install, upgrade, and maintaining various categories of workstations, Troubleshooting Operating Systems and Networks such as Analyzing and resolve faults, such as system crash , communication, launch, execution, performance or network problems.
- Provide appropriate alternate implementations / techniques / workarounds to make system availability.
- Strong in Windows OS all versions / flavors, Web Applications & Services, Comprehensive knowledge of core OS concepts (processes, threads, scheduling, memory management, etc.)
- Must have full knowledge of LAN & WAN. Administration and monitoring of network usage, Network Structure, Wireless Router, DSL, Fiber Optic Media Converters & Switches etc..
- Expertise of internet based applications/ browsers, anti-virus protection tools, utilities, firewalls, Remote Access Tools etc.
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of Domain, DNS & Active Directory Services. Thus overseeing security of all systems, especially the internet, and installing anti-virus protection.
- Ensure regular successful backups of systems and subsequent off-site storage, including system monitoring and problem reporting / resolution. Perform in-house security audits and scans.
- Experience in programming language and system support is plus point.
