The Chief Legal Officer position is open for corporate legal advisors either working in multi national or law firms which have appropriate experience in legal advisory services.
The role of the CLO will be to manage with the CEO on strategic developments, initiatives and contracts. The CLO must ensure that group companies are structured appopriately and that the companies are compliant to all regulations and the companies risks are minimized.
The chief Legal Officer must be able to demonstrate expertise in efficient company structuring, tax advisory services and a strong business accumen to manage the group companies and their operations.
The following would serve as part of the resposibilties of the Chief Legal Officer
1. Development & Vetting of contracts
2. Company structuring local and international
3. Ensuring tax complinance and transparency across the organization and implementation of SOPs to bring all group companies into centralized management system
4. Trademarks & I.P Management
5. Overseeing and being aware of the complete company operations in order to offer advice and manage operations effectively.
6.Managing assigned operations with the executive management and working directly with the CEO and executive management heads on strategic projects to ensure target outcomes are met.
7. To represent the companies in the capacity of Chief Legal Officer
