The Director Sales - COO is a hybrid executive role that combines the strategic sales leadership of a Director with the operational execution responsibilities of a Chief Operating Officer. This position is responsible for creating and executing comprehensive sales strategies while simultaneously ensuring operational efficiency across all project functions. The role demands a leader who can drive revenue growth while optimizing processes, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies for low-cost housing projects

  • Set ambitious sales targets and design roadmaps to achieve them

  • Analyze market trends and adapt sales approaches accordingly

  • Build and lead high-performance sales teams across multiple locations

2. Operational Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of sales, marketing, and customer relationship functions

  • Streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and customer experience

  • Implement performance metrics and monitoring systems for sales operations

  • Ensure seamless coordination between sales, construction, and finance departments

3. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion:

  • Drive revenue growth through innovative sales channels and partnerships

  • Expand market reach through strategic alliances and network development

  • Monitor competitor activities and develop counter-strategies

  • Implement customer retention and referral programs

4. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop both sales and operational teams

  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement

  • Implement training programs to enhance team capabilities

  • Manage staffing requirements and performance management

5. Process Optimization:

  • Design and implement efficient sales and operational processes

  • Leverage technology to automate and streamline operations

  • Implement CRM systems and sales automation tools

  • Continuously improve customer journey and experience

6. Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate with construction teams to align sales promises with delivery capabilities

  • Work with finance department on pricing strategies and payment plans

  • Coordinate with marketing teams for integrated campaign execution

  • Liaise with legal department for contract management and compliance

7. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Establish KPIs for both sales performance and operational efficiency

  • Prepare regular performance reports for senior management

  • Conduct market analysis and provide strategic insights

  • Monitor budget adherence and resource utilization
