We are currently on the lookout for highly motivated Trainee IT Support Engineers. In this role, you should be able to work in a challenging environment with seniors.
You should have excellent personal, organizational and technical skills.
Hired candidates will have the opportunity to work on high visibility and technically complex projects.
- Troubleshoot server-side and database issues.
- Manage data and application backups and restoration.
- Ensure the health of production and staging environments.
- Write automated scripts to perform repeated tasks.
- Perform other support activities.
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g software developers etc).
- Actively update, maintain and monitor all aspects of computer networks.
- Refer to internal databases or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions.
Technical Skills
- Strong background in IT networking.
- Strong working knowledge of server side, hardware, and databases.
- Strong working knowledge of linux based operating systems.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows.
- Install and configure computer systems and applications within the company.
Desired Languages: Javascript or Typescript
