The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in project management, data analysis, and team leadership within a library context to support continuous improvements and operational excellence at Riphah International University.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day library operations including circulation, shelving, and user assistance to ensure smooth workflow.
- Perform basic cataloging activities to organize and maintain library materials.
- Maintain and update library records accurately using computer systems, databases, and standard office software.
- Respond to user queries and coordinate with library staff to provide efficient and timely service delivery.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of library programs and events.
- Assist with routine administrative tasks necessary to keep the library well-organized and operational.
- Monitor and manage library inventory to ensure resources are updated and in good condition.
- Collaborate with university departments and external partners to enhance information services and user engagement.
- Utilize project management skills to support library initiatives and optimize resource allocation.
- Analyze data related to library usage and services to inform decision-making and service enhancements.
- Support the training and guidance of junior staff and volunteers in library procedures.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and best practices in library management and information services.
