Riphah International University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering. Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in biomedical engineering, ensuring content is current and aligned with industry standards.
- Develop and update curriculum to meet accreditation requirements and evolving academic standards in biomedical engineering.
- Guide and supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations, promoting innovation and critical thinking skills.
- Conduct rigorous research in areas such as medical imaging, biomaterials, biomechanics, and bioinstrumentation, contributing to recognized scholarly publications.
- Manage laboratory resources effectively, including planning, organizing, and maintaining biomedical engineering experimental facilities and equipment.
- Prepare and submit research grant proposals to secure external funding and support departmental research initiatives.
- Participate actively in departmental and institutional committees focused on academic development and quality assurance.
- Apply modern educational technologies and laboratory information management systems to enhance learning and research productivity.
- Collaborate with healthcare and medical device industries to support applied research and technology transfer projects.
- Maintain updated knowledge of advances in biomedical engineering through continuous professional development and participation in academic conferences.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems, good laboratory practices, and regulatory requirements in research and laboratory activities.
- Contribute to student assessment, feedback, and mentoring, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
