Riphah International University seeks an experienced Assistant Professor in Pharmacology to join their academic team. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive lectures in Pharmacology and related subjects, ensuring clarity and accessibility of complex concepts.
- Design, develop, and update curriculum content to reflect current trends and advancements in pharmacology and therapeutics.
- Conduct original research in pharmacology, including preclinical drug development, pharmacokinetics, and toxicology assessments, contributing to scholarly knowledge.
- Publish research findings in recognized peer-reviewed journals and participate in academic conferences to disseminate knowledge and establish professional presence.
- Supervise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in their research projects, fostering analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Develop and manage experimental designs, including design of experiments (DOE), randomized controlled trials, and clinical trial protocols.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems, ensuring method development, validation, and calibration are performed according to quality standards.
- Utilize statistical analysis software, programming tools like Python and VBA, and databases such as SQL and Excel for robust data analysis and interpretation.
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to promote integrated research initiatives and contribute to multidisciplinary academic environments.
- Contribute to quality management systems by ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory standards in research and teaching activities.
- Engage in grant writing and secure research funding to support academic and scientific investigations.
- Provide academic advising and support to students, enhancing their educational experience and academic success.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees to support institutional goals and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Apply proficiency in clinical trial management systems (CTMS) and chromatography data systems (CDS) to support clinical research activities and data integrity.
- Mentor students and junior researchers in research methodologies, academic writing, and professional development.
- Continuously improve teaching methodologies through the adoption of educational technologies and learning management systems.
