Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate academic records and ensure adherence to institutional policies and accreditation standards.
- Conduct rigorous research in Psychology, targeting publication in reputable national and international journals.
- Present research findings at academic conferences, seminars, and workshops to advance psychological knowledge.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research initiatives and actively seek research funding opportunities.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, providing academic guidance and mentorship.
- Advise students on research methodologies, professional development, and participation in academic and research activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development, reviewing course content to align with academic quality and accreditation requirements.
- Engage in continuous quality improvement through program assessment and development of new academic offerings.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committees, supporting strategic planning and operational initiatives.
- Assist in organizing academic events such as seminars, workshops, and conferences to foster a scholarly community.
- Build and maintain relationships with professional organizations, healthcare institutions, and community stakeholders.
- Promote mental health awareness and participate in outreach programs to enhance psychological wellbeing in the community.
- Represent the university at professional and academic forums, contributing to the institutions visibility and reputation.
- Apply ethical research practices including informed consent procedures, data privacy compliance, and adherence to Institutional Review Board protocols.
