Qualification: PhD in the relevant discipline from HEC-recognized university/institution.
Experience: Over all 5-10 years / As per HEC.
Publication: At least 15 research publications in HEC-recognized SCOPUS journals. Research Supervision: Strong record of supervision, and scholarly contributions.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Conduct original and applied research in relevant fields to contribute to the body of knowledge and enhance the university’s research profile.
- Supervise postgraduate students’ research projects, theses, and dissertations, ensuring adherence to academic standards and ethical guidelines.
- Develop, review, and update curriculum and course materials to align with current scientific advances and accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues and departmental staff to foster a scholarly and supportive academic environment.
- Participate actively in departmental and university committees, contributing to academic and institutional development efforts.
- Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at academic conferences to maintain a strong research presence.
- Ensure compliance with HEC and other regulatory bodies’ standards for teaching quality, assessment, and research integrity.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with advances in Medical Laboratory Technology and pedagogy.
- Support the university’s goals in accreditation processes by providing necessary documentation and fulfilling required academic criteria.
