The Graphics Designer is responsible for producing high-quality design assets including social media graphics, website visuals, advertising materials, presentations, and printed collateral. The individual ensures all work adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel throughout every project. This role requires managing multiple concurrent design projects while delivering on quality and time commitments. Staying current with graphic design trends, software developments, and industry best practices is essential to maintaining fresh and impactful creative content. The successful candidate will also leverage design thinking and creative concept development to produce compelling narratives through visual storytelling that enhance the universitys marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver innovative design content for digital platforms such as social media, websites, and email marketing campaigns.
- Develop visual concepts, layouts, and graphics for marketing materials including brochures, banners, flyers, and presentations.
- Ensure design outputs consistently follow brand standards to uphold the universitys brand integrity across all communications.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and other teams to produce unified design solutions that support brand messaging and engagement.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve design deliverables, ensuring clarity and impact.
- Manage several design projects at once, balancing quality with deadlines and demonstrating attention to detail.
- Keep abreast of the latest graphic design trends, techniques, and software tools to apply innovative approaches to visuals.
- Prepare artwork for print and digital publishing, ensuring technical accuracy and high visual quality.
- Utilize advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Figma.
- Apply typography, color theory, and layout expertise to enhance aesthetics and user experience across all designs.
- Use design thinking and creative concept development to tell engaging visual stories aligned with marketing goals.
- Perform image editing, photo retouching, color correction, and layer management to improve graphic assets quality.
- Assist in creating storyboards and user interface design elements where applicable to support multimedia and interactive projects.
