Riphah International University seeks an experienced In Charge Engineering professional to lead and oversee engineering projects and operations within the institution. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 10 engineering professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects and daily operations.
- Plan, organize, and monitor engineering projects from design to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Apply advanced technical problem solving to identify, analyze, and resolve engineering challenges promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with various university departments to align engineering projects with institutional goals and requirements.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any issues.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes to enhance team productivity and project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and university policies during all engineering activities.
- Prepare and present technical reports, project documentation, and progress summaries to university leadership.
- Mentor and develop team members by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to support their professional growth.
- Manage resource allocation, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to optimize operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress, discuss challenges, and plan subsequent actions.
- Evaluate new engineering technologies and methodologies that could benefit the university's infrastructure and services.
- Address and resolve conflicts within the team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
