Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications to ensure stable IT operations.
Provide prompt technical support and troubleshoot issues related to systems, hardware, software, and networks.
Manage IT inventory, including PCs, printers, routers, and related accessories, ensuring equipment is functional and well-maintained.
Conduct routine system updates, antivirus installations, and verify data backup procedures to protect information integrity.
Assist in setting up IT infrastructure and equipment for meetings, computer labs, and everyday office activities.
Monitor network and system performance using tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, and other diagnostic resources.
Use Active Directory to manage user accounts, permissions, and access control efficiently.
Diagnose hardware faults including circuit analysis and firmware debugging to maintain system reliability.
Support remote desktop services and configure VPN to enable secure remote connectivity for users.
Implement network configuration protocols and utilize configuration management tools like Ansible for maintaining consistency across IT resources.
Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior IT personnel, ensuring timely solutions for complex problems.
Maintain detailed records of technical procedures, system changes, and incidents to support troubleshooting and compliance.
Perform Linux system administration tasks including shell scripting and system performance tuning to optimize server environments.
Ensure proper backup and recovery processes using tools such as Veeam Backup & Replication to safeguard critical data.
Maintain printers and peripheral devices, ensuring proper installation and troubleshooting when necessary.
Use diagnostic and troubleshooting tools to analyze and resolve various hardware and software challenges effectively.
