Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated Manager for the Academics ADP position to oversee academic program operations and drive continuous improvement in academic processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing academic program management, curriculum development, educational policy compliance, and student assessment and evaluation. This role requires close coordination with faculty and staff, ensuring quality assurance, and leveraging learning management systems and data analysis tools to enhance educational outcomes. The position demands a strategic leader with strong organizational skills and an ability to execute projects efficiently while maintaining compliance with institutional policies.
Though this role does not include team management responsibilities, it requires effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders across departments and external partners. The manager plays a key role in monitoring key performance indicators, managing budgets, preparing comprehensive reports, and utilizing project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. The candidate will also work with various IT service management frameworks and financial planning tools to support departmental operations and ensure smooth execution of all academic programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Academic Development Program (ADP) to ensure alignment with university goals.
- Develop and implement strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and improving academic program performance.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including faculty coordination and administrative units, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with academic policies.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators to guarantee that academic programs meet established targets.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and performance analyses to inform senior management and support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure strict adherence to organizational policies, educational regulations, and quality assurance standards.
- Leverage learning management systems and other technological tools to facilitate curriculum delivery and student assessment processes.
- Utilize project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Microsoft Project for efficient project planning and monitoring.
- Apply data analysis and reporting techniques to track program success and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with finance departments to assist with budgeting, financial planning, and reporting related to academic projects.
- Implement IT service management frameworks including ITIL and ChangeGear to manage incident and problem resolution processes within academic operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and utilize problem management software to identify and resolve issues affecting academic program delivery.
- Assist in financial consolidation and reporting processes using financial modeling software such as Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle Financials, and SAP.
- Maintain compliance with incident management processes and ensure timely responses using tools like ServiceNow and ChangeGear IT Service Management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by integrating feedback, data, and financial insights into program planning.
- Prepare and manage documentation related to project milestones, financial forecasting, and performance evaluations.
