The Manager Finance will oversee the financial health of MaxHealth Hospital. This role involves managing financial planning, budgeting, cash flow tracking, financial reporting, and compliance with healthcare regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial leadership to optimize revenue and manage hospital operational costs effectively.
Job Specifications & Qualifications:
- Education: CA (Inter) / ACMA / ACCA / CPA or MBA in Finance from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in a reputable hospital or healthcare facility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP S/4HANA and Hospital information management system.
- Substantial knowledge of Income tax and Sales tax (Federal & Provincial Sales tax- PRA and ICT).
- Awareness of Accounting standards to ensure accurate transactions recording and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Financial Management & Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement.
- Present financial reports to the hospital management.
- Oversee cash flow management, treasury, and banking operations.
- Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process of the hospital assigned.
- Analyze variances between actual expenses and budgeted targets.
- Provide financial forecasts to support strategic expansion and equipment procurement.
- Revenue Cycle & Hospital Billing: Monitor patient billing systems, takaful claims, and corporate panel accounts.
- Minimize revenue leakage and optimize the hospital’s cash collection cycle.
- Review of contracts with consultants & third parties’ payments: Review existing contracts with consultants and other parties as to check accuracy and completeness of consultant’s payments.
- Prepare initial feasibility with a proposed consultant or other parties for suggestions.
- Review and approve consultants/Vendor payments and payroll processing.
- Cost Management: Prepare and analyze departmental & services costs (e.g., pharmacy, lab, lab, OT) required for internal decision making i.e. margin available on rendered services, if any.
