Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct advanced research in mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, or computational mathematics to further knowledge and innovation within the discipline.
- Publish high-impact research articles in reputed international journals to enhance the universitys academic reputation.
- Supervise and mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers, guiding them through the completion of their academic work and fostering their scholarly development.
- Develop, review, and update mathematics curriculum to maintain alignment with current academic standards and industry trends.
- Secure competitive research grants and funding to support individual and collaborative research projects within the mathematical sciences.
- Utilize advanced mathematical modeling and computational tools to support research and teaching activities.
- Participate actively in academic leadership, including contributing to departmental governance, curriculum design, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with national and international research groups to promote academic exchange and enhance research outcomes.
- Contribute to faculty development by providing academic mentorship and support to colleagues.
- Engage in academic service activities such as peer reviewing, organizing conferences, and contributing to academic networks.
- Support the universitys goals by strengthening institutional rankings through research excellence and academic contributions.
- Stay abreast of developments in mathematics and related fields to continuously upgrade teaching methods and research approaches.
