We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and QA to gather requirements, define system functionalities, and ensure successful delivery of software solutions aligned with organizational goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Project manager in software development or SaaS environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or similar.
- Experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements through stakeholder meetings, workshops, and analysis sessions.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, UI/UX, and operations to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Support product road mapping and backlog prioritization in coordination with product owners and project managers.
- Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and workflow optimization to improve system efficiency.
- Assist in QA processes by validating delivered features against requirements and supporting UAT activities.
- Prepare documentation including BRDs, FRDs, SOPs, user manuals, and release notes.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to recommend enhancements and continuous improvements.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
SKILLS:
- Experience working with LMS (e.g., Moodle), CMS (e.g., SLCM), or other academic systems.
- Familiarity with SaaS product lifecycle and delivery.
- Understanding of QA processes and testing methodologies.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Experience in operations, customer success, or product coordination roles.
