Job brief: RIT services is looking for an Application Tester to assess packaged application quality through manual and automated testing. He will be part of the application team to support application testing on Windows platform. In this role, he will be responsible for testing applications, troubleshooting, documentation following an established process and workflow with excellent communication skills. He will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. Ultimately, he will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.
Responsibilities:
· Review and analyze system specifications
· Collaborate with the application test team to develop application tests
· Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
· Evaluate application with monitoring tools like Procmon and Netmon
· Create logs and screenshots to document testing steps and defects
· Report bugs and errors to the application test team by documenting them
· Help and troubleshoot issues
· Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
· Work with cross-functional teams to ensure application testing quality
Requirements:
· Proven experience as an application Tester or similar role
· Experience in application testing and QA methodology
· Ability to analyze and rework VB scripts
· Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
· Excellent communication skills
· Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
· Strong organizational skills
· B. Sc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
