Electronics Engineer
RoboMachine Design is the manufacturer of custom engineered machines for last five years. We employ over 20 staff, spread across Australia and Pakistan. Due to continued growth we are now looking to add a Design Engineer who can work online with our team.
About the Role
- As electronics design engineer, your role will involve carrying out and leading the electronics design on a range of electronic technologies and consumer products, from concept development through to manufacture.
- Reporting to the R&D Team Leader, you will work collaboratively across disciplines, and closely with electronics design consultants as required.
- The ability to communicate and work in a team, while recognising how design decisions affect the overall product and end customer is essential.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Your tasks will include:
- Assisting with the development of product design requirements, schedules and milestones.
- Electronics design, PCB layout and schematic capture.
- Hardware development, prototype, test and evaluation.
- Complete product verification and validation.
- Development and implementation of manufacturing test systems.
- Product compliance research and testing.
- Manufacturing and supply chain support.
- Embedded C - Code development based on small micro-controllers.
- Real time embedded control.
- Circuit simulation.
- Embedded micro-controller design.
- Hot air re-flow & soldering skills.
- Practical test & debug, using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators etc.
