Mining Engineer

DigGRock Pvt Ltd (********************************************) required a mining engineer for its quarry operations at Gharibwal Limestone Quarry Mining Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that quarries, pits and opencast sites operate successfully. He will oversee all operations, both on site and in the office, manage staff, coordinate production and monitor all site systems.

Responsibilities

As a mining manager, you'll need to:

1) combine your knowledge of extraction and processing systems with excellent interpersonal and management skills to ensure the profitability of quarry sites

2) check that the quarry's production levels are maintained safely to schedule

3) balance sales and output

4) alter the quarry's production system in accordance with the materials required

5) liaise with sales and commercial teams

6) performance manage the production process and set and monitor targets

7) provide the owner company with information and statistics on the quarry's performance

8) develop links with local groups and organizations

9) manage and regulate the quarry's budget

10) maintain up-to-date records and deal with paperwork

11) develop inspection systems and checklists

12) Optimum usage of machinery working at site

13) Minimize machinery hours

14) Provide the best possible material required by the company

15) closely monitor all areas of the quarry to ensure that extraction and processing work is carried out to the highest standard

16) provide active leadership and management of safety processes and culture to minimize risk in all operations activities

17) liaise with staff on site and deal with any technical or staffing challenges that arise

18) undertake regular site inspections and risk assessments in order to comply with all health and safety regulations

19) examine the materials produced to ensure that a high quality of product is maintained

20) assess equipment and production material levels

21) order new items as required

22) Check that all vehicles on site are maintained to a good standard.
