Job Brief: Rolustech is looking for a Content Strategist to join our Marketing Team and enrich our websites with new blog posts, guides, and marketing copy.
Content Strategist responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry-related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication.
If you’re familiar with producing online content, have an eye for detail, and an understanding of SEO, we’d like to meet you. Feel free to share samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles, along with your application.
Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost traffic and brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, competitor analysis, and studies)
- Write clear and SEO optimized marketing copy to promote our products/services
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems i.e. WordPress
- Write, proofread and edit blog posts before publication
- Coordinate with design teams for Social Media Graphics & Marketing Material.
- Coordinate with Business Development Team to write Case Studies
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
- Promote content on Social Media
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Update website content as needed
Requirements
- Experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
- Confident writing in a creative/conversational tone
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Good interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Familiarity with keyword placement, density, relevance and SEO best practices
- Ability to meet deadlines
