What will you be doing?
- Demonstrate PHP development experience in an MVC framework where you will produce APIs that our mobile apps will consume.
- Integrate our platform with various 3rd parties via their APIs.
- Develop new features and maintain existing features on backend system using PHP and MySQL.
- Maintain and enhance backend infrastructure in AWS.
- Closely follow best practices in software development lifecycle using the agile (Scrum) methodology and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the backend code and databases to ensure strong optimization, functionality, and scalability
- Implement refactors and performance improvements as required
- Collaborate with CTO and members of the technical team to assess and implement new system requirements
Requirements Highlights ( MUST ):
- PHP Development Experience: 5yrs +
- PHP 7 Development Experience: 3yrs+.
- MVC Framework Experience: 5yrs + ( Laravel 5+ or Symfony 2+)
- MySQL Experience: 5yrs +
- Git Experience: 3yrs+
- Linux Server Management Experience: 2yrs+
- Must be able to work during the Australian Time zone.
- Must be able to speak fluent English and communicate with Clients when required
Other Required Skills:
- Must have at least 5 Years of experience working on PHP based projects.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in PHP 7.
- Work experience on Bazooka version of Symfony framework will be a plus.
- Must be comfortable in programming with OOP concepts. Must have in-depth knowledge of Web 2.0, XHTML,CSS, JavaScript, jQuery & AJAX.
- Must have excellent knowledge of mySQL, Mongodb and other databases.
- Must have strong working over GIT CLI.
- Must have knowledge of Linux Server Management.
- Must have knowledge of Payment Integration APIs and other APIs like SOAP and REST.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
- Must be able to work independently and within a team.
- Must have knowledge of cURL, API, Web Services, XML, URL Rewriting, and Cron Jobs.
- Experience with using Vagrant and Virtual box during will be considered as a plus.
