Responsibilities:
- Developing custom web applications that drive business processes
- Website Speed Optimization
- Writing clean, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way
- Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product software and databases
- Integrating feeds from social networks
- Customizing WordPress to support specific functionality
- Developing new plugins for WordPress
- Good communication Skills
Required Skills:
- Experience in PHP, CakePHP, WordPress, MySQL, HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript
- Understanding of object-oriented programming
- Understanding of WordPress customization
- Understanding of Theme and Plugins integrations
- Understanding of third-party tools and APIs integration
- Ability to work independently and with team
- Quick Learner and Efficient
- Able to work well under pressure
- Capable of hitting daily deadlines
- Knowledge of pantheon platform will be plus
- Understanding of code versioning tools like Git
