Rozee Executive Search is looking for enthusiastic QA Interns to join our quality assurance team. This role is ideal for candidates with a foundational understanding of software testing who are eager to grow their skills in both manual and automation testing. Interns will support the QA Lead in verifying the quality of our web and mobile applications through executing manual test cases, documenting issues, and learning automation testing concepts. This opportunity provides hands-on experience with bug tracking, SQL, API testing, and understanding the software development life cycle, making it a perfect starting point for those pursuing a career in quality assurance.
The QA Interns will work closely with the team to ensure the final product meets high standards of functionality and performance. Candidates should have at least one year of experience and a basic knowledge of software testing processes, as well as a strong commitment to learning and continuous improvement. Although this role does not involve managing a team, interns will cultivate essential collaboration and communication skills while contributing effectively to project goals.
Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications as directed by the QA Lead.
- Document and report bugs clearly and accurately to assist in quick resolution.
- Assist in tracking bugs and validating fixes in subsequent releases.
- Support the QA team in understanding and following software development (SDLC) and software testing (STLC) life cycles.
- Learn and apply basic principles of test automation under guidance.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand application features and quality expectations.
- Utilize SQL queries to validate data integrity where required.
- Participate in API testing to verify the integration and functionality of different software components.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of testing results and processes.
- Continuously develop knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proactively seek feedback and training opportunities to enhance testing skills and contribute more effectively.
- Communicate any challenges or blockers to the QA Lead promptly to maintain testing timelines.
