Production Manager

1. Plan, organize & produce petroleum based polyvinyl acetate, resin for woodwork, paint lattice , binders , textile auxiliaries ,detergents, polyurethanes, crop emulsifiers & specialized segment of Adhesives for Henkel at a minimum cost while maintaining Quality & HSE standards. Ensure production to meet delivery dates agreed with the Business and deliver production is required. Develop and implement production plan agreed in the Sales and operations planning (SOP) meeting. Monitor progress to ensure completion as per the OTIF.

2. Responsible for safe and efficient operation of plant utilities that include Effluent treatment plant, Boiler, Deionised water plant, Cooling tower and Ammonia Chiller to ensure production requirement on time in full basis. Supervision of permanent as well as contract staff.

3. Contract Manager for all production department contracts. In this context, ensure induction and training of related contractor’s staff on all HSE and operational aspects.

4. Provide support in assessment of manufacturing suitability of new products both ICI and Non ICI and recommend appropriate plant and equipment modifications. Conduct 6 stage hazard studies of new and modified equipment and process

5. Perform manufacturing capability reviews to improve productivity. Prepare expansion proposals and capital expenditures aligned with Business future growth and cost strategies.

6. To ensure that the revenue budgets for the section are prepared and implemented to avoid over-runs at year-end.

7. Responsible for implementing company policies, IR policies & legislative requirements
