E-Filing of Tax returns , ability to independently correspond with tax Authorities and well versed with industry tax issues
Preparation and timely submission ofmonthly Federal and Provincial sales tax returns.
Preparation and timely submission of Annual Income Tax Returns and Bi-Annual withholding returns as per legal requirements.
Preparation of monthly general ledger reconciliations of Sales Tax and Income Tax.
Calculation of Current Taxable Income, Tax Losses and Tax Basesof assets and liabilities as per relevant local tax requirements.
Follow up with customers for withholding tax certificates and preparation of withholding tax certificates deducted as a Withholding Agent.
Liaise with tax advisors on tax issues and notices from tax authorities and review the responses prepared by tax advisors before submission to authorities.
Review the grounds of appeal filed before authorities for current and ensuing tax issues and suggests appropriate responses under tax laws.
Liaise and conduct meetings with tax authority’s officials in respect of audit and other notices issued.
Review and authorize withholding income tax calculation on salaries and routine payment vouchers in respect of tax implications.
Provide innovative tax planning and improve processes by implementation of best tax practices.
