RSFSOFT. is looking for Wordpress developer.
The position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP Wordpress, HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript) and aesthetics (understanding of element sizing, spacing, arrangement and typography). Having a strong understanding of industry best practices is highly preferred. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the entire development cycle: design, development and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of existing Wordpress based platforms
- Ensuring high-performance and availability of the platforms at all times
- Management of all technical aspects of content management platforms
- Troubleshooting and debugging coding errors and cleaning up HTML/CSS on existing pages
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Formulating an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to write clean, solid, scalable code
- Knowledge of proficient understanding of web mark-up, especially HTML5 and CSS3
- Ability to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Understanding of client side scripting, js frameworks, incl jquery
- Experience with setting up Varnish and cache layers
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
- Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, ajax
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Knowledge of testing across multiple browsers, platforms and devices
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Chrome DevTools
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN or Mercurial)
