Overview:
An Australian based education institute requires services of a financial accountant with exceptional English communication skills. The incumbent shall be based in Lahore and report to the onsite Financial Controller in Australia.
The role would cover following major functions:
- Accrual and period end adjustments.
- Approve journal entries as per finance policy.
- Approve allocations.
- Accounts’ reconciliation.
- Prepare Trial Balance.
- Prepare management accounts and period end reports.
- Manage Fixed Asset Register including asset adjustments, enhancement, revaluations and transfers.
- Prepare consolidated financial reports.
- Oversee AP and AR in line with company SOPs.
The candidate MUST possess the following:
- Finance/accounts graduates from reputed institutions or ACA/ACCA’s
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience with adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
- Exceptional English skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively with on-site team in Australia. IELTS score of 7+ shall be preferred.
- Advance Ms Excel skills.
- Thorough understanding of basic to advanced accounting concepts and ability to take-up operations with minimum training.
