- Knowledge of Ms Office
- Directly answerable to directors
- Data entry of stock including vouchers and daily stock in and out
- Issue purchase orders for procurement
- Handle change order requests
- Forecast upcoming demand
- Meet suppliers on-site as necessary
- Research potential vendors and Establish good relationships with suppliers to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve pricing and quality of products
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Purchase sample products for COLABS as necessary and track the record to return if not approved
- Compare and evaluate quotations from suppliers
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Review quality of purchased products
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, quotations and invoices
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed with coordination of Store staff.
- Coordinate with store staff to ensure proper storage
- Research new materials for design and cost savings
- Maintain contractor and supplier insurance policies
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
- Assist in settling invoice or contract disputes
- Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
- Procurement of office supplies and products including kitchen supplies, printing and stationery items.
- Other tasks assigned by management
