UTF Labs is looking for a motivated Sales Engineer who combines technical expertise with strong sales skills to promote advanced energy and resource management solutions. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within industrial technology sectors, and a genuine interest in improving industrial processes through automation. This role requires engaging with clients to understand their operational challenges and delivering customized technical solutions that enhance efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities across various industrial sectors. Conduct detailed market research to analyze target markets, potential clients, and emerging trends. Generate leads and convert them into long-term business relationships.
Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and site visits. Understand client needs and operational challenges to provide tailored technical solutions. Serve as the primary contact for customers throughout the sales process.
Technical Expertise: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of energy monitoring, predictive maintenance, and industrial process optimization technologies. Effectively communicate product features and benefits to clients. Collaborate with the technical team to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
Sales Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver engaging presentations, product demonstrations, and technical proposals. Represent UTF Labs at trade shows, seminars, and industry events to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
Sales Targets & Reporting: Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and performance goals. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities. Provide regular reports, forecasts, and feedback to management to support strategic decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and technical teams to create effective sales materials, proposals, and promotional strategies. Share valuable market and customer insights to aid product and service improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- 2-3 years of sales or business development experience in industrial sales environments.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Analytical ability to translate complex technical details into clear customer value.
- Proficiency with CRM software.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in field settings.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Knowledge of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) or energy management systems is highly desirable.
- Full-time position with a competitive salary range of Rs100,000 to Rs150,000 per month.
