Technical Educator – Grass Root manages all of our Professional education activities and provides an expert level of technical education support for distributors and salons within an assigned territory in the region. Technical Educator is a leader and mentor for Sales Executives, distributor, sales consultants and hairdressers.
As part of our dynamic Technical Team you will be an Advanced hair Color Expert and treatment technician responsible for educating in North and Central Region. Ideally you will be based central to the territory and have full access to motorway links.
Reporting to the Regional Head you will be responsible for the planning and execution of education across your area. This will include training our business partners salon team and helping them to excel in their business. You will plan regional events and launch new lines to our clients and work in collaboration with the Field Sales Consultants. You will be an advocate for the brand delivering knowledge on the brand with energy and passion.
Your Key Job Accountabilities:
We are looking for an exceptional individual - a talented hairdresser and a self-motivated team player - who has enjoyed previous experience of delivering technical expertise within a salon environment with bundles of energy and passion for presenting.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of color and hair treatments is an absolute essential requirement to the role as we need someone who can come in and hit the ground running.
- As well as being an advanced color expert and treatment expert, we’re looking for someone who is commercially astute and understands the importance of selling; you must be good with figures and be able to drive sales.
- The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for superior service and will reflect the values of a superior brand in this arena

- You are able to focus and achieve targets / objectives set.
- You will be required to stay away from home, and may be required to travel.
You have:
- Extensive knowledge and experience of color and professional Hair treatment in a Salon setting
- Technical competence and cutting competence
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Experience of building relationships with clients
- Ability to inspire, motivate, coach and develop people
- Passion for the haircare industry
- Diplomacy and patience
- Experience in delivering Education Workshops, Presentations and Classes
