SAMS Marketing UK LTD is an Import & Export company of ASIAN ETHENIC Food items based in Romford , Essex , London. We are currently recruiting a Asst Office Accountant Bookkeeper with a background in Accountancy Practice/ Distribution & Import/Export to join our team. Duties to include our primary responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:
Essentials Skills:
- Providing a full range of Bookkeeping / Management Accounts , Bank reconciliations services in Xero Accounting Software & Excel
- Production of management accounts in Xero Accounting Software, & Excel
- Balancing general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable and control accounts
- Import and Export Documentation making and coordination .
- Sales and purchase ledger
- Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- Assist in preparing/managing Cash Flow and Budgeting sheets
- Reconcilation & Submission of VAT returns, EC sales, corporation tax and payroll related matters within statutory deadlines
- Experience with multiple Currencies customer accounts in multiple currencies
- Experience with physical stock shipments and the logistical processes .
- High degree of computer literacy and experience of accounting systems
- Monthly Payroll Run
- Email correspondence with Supplier / Customer
Preferred but Non-Essential Skills:
- Assisting with preparing quarterly and monthly management accounts
- Dealing with client queries and resolving issues
- Dealing with foreign exchange transactions
- Create, send and follow up on invoices and PO’s
- Upload staff expenses
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions
- Develop and document business processes to maintain & strengthen internal controls
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
TRAINING :
- FULL TRAINING SHALL BE PROVIDED TO THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE.
Qualification:
- Part qualified or newly qualified AAT/ACCA/CIMA or QBE
- OR Business Bachelors Degree
Experience Required:
- 2-3+ years' experience in a bookkeeping role in accountancy / import & export.
- Fresh Graduate can be Considered .
- Distribution Warehouse Management & Retail experience is preferred.
