Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contribute significantly to the sales strategy and determining budgets and sales targets.
  • Keep track of invoices and prepare reports to expedite the billing process.
  • Management of client relationships and ensuring that staff manage any complaints appropriately.
  • Provide training to all export team and perform assessment of all work and assist to achieve all export objectives.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with all clients and perform regular communication with all staff and clients.
  • Maintaining good customer relationships and monitoring customer feedback.
  • Ensuring that Shipments follow the laws and regulations governing the export industry.
  • Within Freight Forwarding, responsible for the management of the Export sales team which will include the monitoring of their performance, planning training appropriate to their needs and the control of the sales and service programs.
  • To be able to advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure the business runs effectively and efficiently.
  • Assessing marketing potential of new and existing sales opportunities and presenting new opportunities in a clear and analytical manner to senior managers within the organization
  • Works with complete knowledge of the national, international, and foreign sanctions and embargo regulations, e.g., Council Regulation (EU) No 961/2010 and the national and international regulations on the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, e.g., regulation (EC) No 1272/2008
  • Solves problems which arise in planning, prioritizing, organizing, directing/facilitating action and evaluating performance. Use systematic processes of collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing information to evaluate current practice and generate new understandings about practice
  • Evaluates and manages the possibility of financial loss and non-payment following international transactions, in the context of foreign exchange market; apply instruments like letters of credit.
  • Conforms and follows the ethical code of conducts promoted by companies and businesses at large. Ensure that operations and activities do comply with the code of conduct and ethical operations the supply chain throughout.
  • Implements and monitors compliance with import and export requirements to avoid customs claims, supply chain interruption, increased overall costs.
  • Develops and plans the strategies for import and export, according to the size of the company, the nature of its products, expertise, and business conditions on the international markets
  • Detailed and thorough treatment of transactions, compliance with regulations and supervision of employees, safeguarding a smooth running of daily operations
