Job Description

      • Develops and implements organizational policies and procedures for the facility or medical unit. Monitors the compliance for all medical services in the unit.
      • Recruit and train independent contractor physicians and other medical-allied professionals
      • Directs, supervises and evaluate work activities of medical, nursing, technical, clerical, service, maintenance, and other personnel.
      • Plans, implements and administers programs and services in a health care or medical facility, including personnel administration, training, and coordination of medical, nursing and physical plant staff.
      • Administers and oversees fiscal operations, such as, accounting, planning budgets, authorizing expenditures, establishing rates for services, and coordinating financial reporting.
      • Monitors the use of diagnostic services, inpatient beds, facilities, and staff to ensure effective use of resources and assess the need for additional staff, equipment, and services.
      • Serves as primary advisor to the executive, case management and clinical management regarding health and safety issues.
      • Holds regular discussions, where appropriate, with other health professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
      • Ensures proper upkeep & confidentiality of medical records & patient documentation.
      • Maintains competence and keep abreast of any new updates in clinical practice through literature review, attendance at relevant conferences, internal professional development etc.
