We at SANOMADS want to add a Shopify front-end/theme developer ninja to our team.
This will be a full-time remote position. The ideal candidate would be a good team player, a decent problem solver, analytically sound, self-sufficient in terms of getting the tasks done, producing a maintainable codebase, and having a strong sense of ownership. You will be an expert in designing, developing, testing, and deploying solutions based on the industry's best practices and clients' business requirements. You will be expected to be well-versed in the following technologies and tools:
- HTML/CSS/Javascript
- A deep understanding of how the browser handles the DOM.
- Knowledge of work around cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Proficient understanding of adaptable web development and frameworks
- A good grip on website accessibility and ADA compliance.
- Working knowledge of SEO optimization.
- Mastery of the concepts of Javascript/ECMA Script 5/6 and how to use them in real life, e.g., custom elements, event emitters, and animations.
- Strong with the latest design tools and a good understanding of UI/UX concepts.
- Shopify Theme Development
- Near to perfect understanding of the Shopify ecosystem as a whole and how the different components interact with each other within the ecosystem.
- Experience with working with Shopify Plus and custom checkout in Shopify Plus stores and
- Shopify Scripts is essential.
- Expert in Shopify theme development and customization.
- Experience with working on Automation toolkits like Gulp, Webpack, and NPM.
- React JS knowledge would be an added advantage.
- Experience working with Shopify B2B and Shopify markets would be a bonus.
- Experience with Headless eCommerce would be a big bonus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree - good to have
- Proven success architecting, scoping, and delivering enterprise Shopify solutions.
- Shopify app development experience would be a big PLUS.
