Job Description

Job Objective: 

Contribute to brand image, setting industry benchmarks for aspirational brand value and devising creative strategies to drive brand image & awareness. 

Tasks:

Brand Image

Work closely with Brand Manager to co-conceptualize the imagery framework for all Sapphire visual communications

Ensure the mood and visual language set by Brand Manager is being carried out for photoshoots across all functions (Talent, styling, set design, photography, lighting, editing, graphics)

Co-direct shoots with Brand Manager - Book Talent

Fashion Shoot Timelines

Responsible for setting shoot calendar in a manner that enables all concerned departments to receive fair timelines to execute, based on respective functions (Design, Production, Category, Set Team, Styling Team, Photography & Retouching Team, Graphics Team, Commercial Team, Digital Team)

Closely coordinate with the concerned departments for timely arrival of shoot samples & make alternative arrangements as and when required

Overlook coordinator to ensure all operations are being handled smoothly

Creative Conceptualization & Execution

Work closely with Sr. Brand Manager on conceptualization and execution in multiple areas (Other than above mentioned) as and when required:

- Product Buying & Sourcing - Social Media Content- Packaging- Event Management

- Fashion Week Collections- Regular Fashion Collections - PR Initiatives etc.- Window Displays- In-store Displays- In- Mall Displays

Brand Awareness, Sales & Footfall Generation Creative Strategy

- Work closely with Sr. Brand Manager & Commercial Head to brainstorm creative ideas that generate footfall based on the given situation

- Suggest and implement innovative marketing strategies to boost brand awareness

Strategic Alignment

Work closely with Sr. Brand Manager for the following Activities

-In-depth understanding of creative brand management departmental deliverables that will contribute to overall Marketing/Brand department KPIs (Commercial + Creative)

-The holistic concept of brand identity to maintain its consistent framework across all business units

-Help to coordinate strategies for celebrity endorsements

-Contribute to E-Commerce

Support Business ExpansionLaunch of New Category/ Sub Category

-Generate names for new product lines and sub categories

-Suggest Logo design for new product lines and sub categories

-Ensure the image and visual language set by Brand Manager for all new categories and sub categories is carried out

-Identify any issues with packaging and suggest the best possible solution to the category team to ensure the display is optimized

Financial Budget- Create quarterly budgets

- Ensure the department works within the budget allocated every quarter

- Devise cost reduction strategies

Interdepartmental Communication & Coordination

-Creative/Design Director & Brand Manager for image building strategy and visual language for all collections

-Brand Manager for direct reporting on visuals, timelines, budgets and overall department progress

-Creative, Photography & Graphics team to follow up on visuals

-Commercial team for brand strategy, events, outdoor communication, print media, PR

-Operations team for in-store product availability for social media posts & for store or product launch events.

-Visual Merchandising team for seasonal display, new store openings, window rollouts and & campaign alignment

-Merchandising/Category teams for product sample availability for shoots & products that require sales push and creative strategy

-Administration team for extensive support for campaign shoots

-Accounts & Finance for budget

Department SOPs & Compliance

Co-manage the department SOP’s and ensure strict compliance of all team members

Inventory Control & Transparency

-Ensure all team members follow the defined chain of communication while handling any and all merchandise of SRL

-Holding the concerned team member responsible in case of loss via tracking the movement of merchandise creating transparency in the distribution chain

-Ensuring team members responsibly return all merchandise in a timely manner

-Ensuring a documented log of all set/prop materials & cutting costs by tweaking and reusing as much as possible

Financial Documentation

-Ensuring all financial budgets allocated to various team members are officially documented before handing over to HOD

Authenticity & Originality

-Ensuring the creative content for all visual communication of the brand is 100% original

-Constantly communicating to the team the importance. 

of original creativity to avoid negative brand image through direct copying

Task Sheet Management

- Responsible to create and manage daily task sheets for all members of the department
