The Project Director at TAJ Residencia a project of Sardar Group of Companies holds a critical leadership role responsible for the comprehensive oversight and execution of master planning, development, and design within a large-scale housing society project. This position demands strategic planning, decisive leadership, and exceptional project management skills to deliver high-quality outcomes within strict deadlines and budgets. The director coordinates closely with senior management, board members, architects, planners, and contractors to ensure alignment of project objectives and compliance with all statutory regulations. With a focus on architecture and urban design, the Project Director provides valuable input on optimizing residential, commercial, and amenity layouts while driving business development activities and phased expansion plans. This role requires extensive experience and expertise in managing complex project management functions such as scope control, scheduling, cost management, quality assurance, and risk mitigation. The Project Director leads a high-performing multidisciplinary team of approximately 40 engineers, architects, planners, and site staff, mentoring and developing talent to ensure peak performance throughout the project lifecycle. The role demands outstanding capabilities in procurement, tender management, contractor selection, and contract administration to maintain project momentum and achieve successful completion of development works.
Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee master planning, architectural design, urban development, and execution phases of the housing society project, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Establish and maintain rigorous project management frameworks to control project scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, and risk exposure.
• Develop and implement proactive planning strategies to ensure timely completion of all development activities without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with senior management, board members, and key stakeholders to align project objectives and report progress, risks, and performance metrics.

Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Supervise architectural planning and infrastructure layouts, working closely with architects, urban planners, and consultants to optimize designs across residential, commercial, and amenity areas.
• Provide strategic insights and leadership in architecture and design decisions to enhance functionality and aesthetic appeal of the housing society.
• Lead procurement processes, including tendering, contractor evaluation, and contract management to ensure efficient resource allocation and cost control.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory authorities, FADAC rules, and all regulatory requirements relevant to housing society development.
• Monitor ongoing project performance, identify risks and challenges, and implement corrective actions to maintain project momentum and mitigate delays.
• Drive business development initiatives such as feasibility studies, phased development planning, and expansion strategies to support long-term growth.
• Build, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of 40 members, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and high standards of work.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management and board presentations, highlighting progress, risks, resource usage, and achievement of milestones.
• Maintain a high-pressure work environment with consistent delivery of projects on time and within budget while upholding superior quality standards.
