Summary: Directly supervises and manage employees in the Accounting Department. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.

Other Responsibilities might include:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting, and/or payroll.
  • Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.
  • Supervise the maintenance of accounting records to show receipts and expenditures.
  • Direct the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, and cost of property, operating expenses, and insurance records.
  • Direct and participates in cost analyses and rate studies.
  • Prepares Financial Statements and Management Accounts of the concerned branch.
  • Co-ordinate with the branches (Islamabad & Lahore) to solve day to day accounting and financial matters.
  • Supervise proper maintenance of all account records of all transactions.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and related analysis (Profit and Loss)
  • Release the payments to business partners after deducting commission and taxes in accordance with management agreement/instructions.
  • Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
  • Coordinate preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
  • Review financial statements with Finance Manager & Management.
  • Direct the installation and maintenance of new accounting system, timekeeping, payroll, property, and other related procedures and controls.
  • Inform about results and unfavorable situations to Manager Finance and Accounts (Lahore) on regular basis.

A candidate with Big 4 experience and/or Mircosoft Dynamics GP will be given preference.
