SDS-IT is looking for a qualified Database developer having knowledge of designing stable and reliable databases, according to our company’s needs.
- You will be responsible for developing, testing, improving, and maintaining new and existing databases to help users retrieve data effectively.
- As part of our IT team, you will work closely with developers to ensure system consistency.
- You will also collaborate with administrators and clients to provide technical support and identify new requirements.
- Communication and organization skills are keys for this position, along with a problem-solution attitude.
- Experience in financial domain and Aurora MySQL and Athena would be an advantage.
- Database design and writing stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views using T-SQL.
- Produce high quality code, by strictly following best practices and coding standards
- Resolve complex design and architecture issues
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Set and maintain database standards.
- Performance tuning of database systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
- Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.
- Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Create automation for repeating database tasks.
Database Developer Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools
- Understanding of relational
- Power Shell and Unix shell scripting skills
- Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- One to three years of experience in database development, information technology, database architecture, or a related field
- MCSE/MCSA certifications preferred
- Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL)
- Experience with cloud services (AWS,Azure) a plus
