Objective 1: Logistics/Procurement
Activities:
- Assist base log officer in supply chain management especially sessional project activities.
- Assist to Procure of goods/services as per SIF policy for the project.
- Assist for timely delivery of items of sessional project activities.
- Receive the supplies of sessional project activities ordered and keep their follow-up up to date;
- Ensure that all purchase procedures are followed any discrepancies to be reported to the concerned.
- To keep records and maintain list of suppliers and local repair/maintenance shops, and to conduct price comparisons among them, in order to get the best deals.
- Assist to collect quotations from local market and targeted category of supplier.
- Follow & management of sessional project stocks (storage conditions, report, expiry date);
- Check delivery to the departments;
- Supervise the management, the renovation and maintenance of structures needed for the functioning (office, guesthouse, warehouse);
- Assist base log in equipment & inventory report
Objective 2: Fleet Management
Activities
- Supervise the management of the pool of vehicles: maintenance, daily planning.
- Supervise. Monitor and train the drivers.
- Monitor regular consumption of vehicles.
- Monitor regular checks of vehicles by driver and all equipment placements in the vehicle.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/BEHAVIOR
- Good communications skills (both written and verbal; fluency in Pashto (Peshawar), Sindhi (TPk) & Urdu; knowledge of English an asset.
- Experience with MS Office and data programs
- Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
- Effective under pressure, results oriented and proactive with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent inter-personal skills (Verbal and Non-Verbal Communications, Listening and Negotiation skills, problem solving)
- Fluent in Urdu, English and local language.

2-3 years' experience of procurement, inventory/equipment, Stock and Fleet management
