Senior AI Engineer - Generative AI

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and solution architecture to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced Generative AI systems using platforms like Google Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, and vector databases. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to build scalable, production-ready AI solutions tailored for enterprise needs. The successful candidate will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality AI projects.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and optimization of Generative AI agents using Google Vertex AI, Azure AI, or similar platforms. Architect and implement end-to-end AI solutions that integrate LLMs, APIs, vector databases, and enterprise data sources. Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including prompt engineering and fine-tuning models to improve AI performance. Integrate vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus to enable intelligent search and information retrieval. Optimize and maintain scalable AI/ML pipelines with a focus on performance, cost efficiency, and maintainability. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define AI strategies, and lead the successful delivery of AI projects. Mentor junior developers and establish best practices for AI development, deployment, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Senior AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or AI Solutions Architect. Strong programming skills in Python with hands-on experience working with LLMs, Generative AI tools, and AI/ML libraries. Practical experience with cloud AI platforms such as Google Vertex AI, Azure AI, or AWS Bedrock. Solid understanding of vector search technologies and embedding-based retrieval methods. Deep knowledge of MLOps, model lifecycle management, and deploying scalable AI solutions in production environments. Hands-on experience developing RAG-based applications. Expertise in prompt engineering and designing prompt workflows.
