We're a full-service consulting practice that helps micro businesses succeed and we're currently in need of a talented Senior Backend Developer.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Back end developer
- Comfortable with backend technologies
- Node.js experience
- Understanding of non-relational databases, such as MongoDB and in-memory stores such as Redis
- Comfortable with building Rest APIs and microservices-based architectures
- Understanding of distributed cloud systems architecture and relevant technologies
- Strong sense of ownership, drive, and ability to deliver results
- Have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of TCP/IP, HTTP, and security- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes such as Git, Bitbucket, Heroku, etc
- Understanding of engineering best practices and a good eye for proper software architecture design
- Comfortable working in disciplined agile development
Your tasks will include:
- Develop full-fledged API contracts and architecture to power incredible features
- Create accessible, efficient, and testable back-end components
- Review code and mentor junior developers
- Collaborate with engineering managers to draft solutions for the product requirements and specifications
- You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve product design and performance
